Based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Inkey Media is an Independent Production Company owned and operated by filmmaker Dena Curtis.

Through blending Aboriginal culture and contemporary stories, Inkey Media produces original and bold content for television and online platforms that engages Australian and International audiences.

 

 

DENA CURTIS | COMPANY DIRECTOR / PRODUCER

With twenty years’ experience in the film and television industry, Dena has broad experience in Production with Editing, Writing, Directing and Producing Credits. Dena has also worked at National Indigenous Television and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Working across a broad range of documentary, factual and drama projects as both creative and investor, this experience has allowed Dena to foster strong story development and management skills.

Dena’s credits include the ground-breaking Children’s Live-Action Television Series, Grace Beside Me, Award- winning short films Hush, Jacob and Nan and a Whole Lot of Trouble. ABC’s narrative comedy series 8MMM Aboriginal Radio, SBS/NITV’s documentary series, Shadow Trackers, feature documentary, Ella and Series Producer of documentary series, Elements, produced by WildBear Entertainment.

 

TARA WARDROP | OFFICE AND PRODUCTION MANAGER

Tara is an experienced Brisbane based Production Manager and aspiring emerging Producer. Having been in the Industry for over 8 years her knowledge and experience within all aspects of Production is extensive. Some of Tara’s credits include: Grace Beside Me (NITV/ ABCME), Wik vs Queensland (NITV), Colour Theory Season 4 (NITV), Jill Billcock: Dancing the Invisible(ABC) and Show Me The Magic (ABC). Tara is also experienced in post- production supervision, development, short films, feature documentaries, distribution, marketing and business management.

Tara recently joined Inkey Media as the company’s Office and Production Manager.
